  1. I just got done reading the first book. It. Was. Amazing!!!!

I love all of the unique personalities of the princes( Prince Fredrick is my favorite) and the princesses( except Briar Rose, her personality is kind of horrifying). I also thought the book was SUPER halarious! I don’t find many books that make me literally laugh out loud, but this is definitely one of them.

I just got the second book and I definitely cannot wait to read it!!! So, are you going to write more books for this series or it Storming the Castle the last one?

I’m so excited to see what happens in Storming the Castle!

    1. I’m so glad you enjoyed Saving Your Kingdom! I hope Storming the Castle was just as much fun for you. The third book in the Hero’s Guide saga will be a huge climactic episode–my personal favorite of the three. I ‘ll be keeping my fingers crossed in hopes that readers like it as much as I do.

      1. Oh yay! You answered! Thanks! I was wondering, do you know how many books there is going to be in the Hero Series ( I don’t even know if that’s its official name)

Also, Book 2 was awesome, though that did not surprise me one bit. I would say my favorite part, but its spoilery, so I won’t do that, but it was great! I also got my sister to read the first book too and she likes it just as much as I do 🙂

        Thank you again!

        1. The third book will be out in spring 2014. It is called The Hero’s Guide to Being an Outlaw–and it really turns the princes’ lives upside down. I hope you enjoy it as much as the first two. And thanks for recommending the series to your sister!

    1. The Hero’s Guide to Being an Outlaw is the last book of this trilogy; it’s the finale of the story arc that runs through all three books. Whether it is the final Hero’s Guide book of all remains to be seen. There are so many more untold stories from the Thirteen Kingdoms. A lot of it will depend on how much fans are clamoring for more. (hint, hint)

  2. This question is a bit irrelevant from the book, but which prince is the smartest one? (Sorry, my friend was asking.)

    1. Well, I think we can safely rule out Gustav. Frederic is definitely book smart, but Liam is probably more street smart–savvier about the real world. And then there’s Duncan, who may not seem like the brightest torch on the castle wall, but who has very, very good grammar. Hard to say. I think between the four of them, we get one adequately smart person.

        1. Gustav is pretty thick-skinned. He can handle the criticism. And he’d never claim to be the smartest anyway. He’s too smart to do something like that.

    1. Depends on the day… If I’m feeling goofy, it’s Duncan. If I’m feeling grumpy, it’s Gustav. If I’m feeling pretty good about myself, it’s Liam. And if I’m in the mood for some tea, it’s Frederic.
